Aliya is a recent homeschooled high school graduate and the oldest of 4 children. She loves dance, theater, photography, and creating all sorts of visual art, including handcrafted jewelry. Aliya is a performing artist who has recorded an original song and has had opportunities to share her talent on stages locally, including the Sweet Arts Ball.
As an entrepreneur, Aliya began her small business two years ago. She is able to use her creativity in handcrafted jewelry making and you can find her at local craft fairs, vendor events, and community outreach events.
Volunteer service is a large part of Aliya’s mission for her life. She volunteers for her church, CenterPointe Church in Benton. She loves children and has a gift for working with and teaching them. You can find her in church serving in the capacity of Assistant Kids Pastor. For the last 3 years, she has been a kids camp leader and host. She has also served on an overseas mission trip and has a heart to do more mission work.
When not serving at church Aliya is volunteering as the 1st & 2nd Grade SEEK Assistant – a local homeschool co-op through the Universty of Arkansas and 4-H program. She has also spent several years in the Doxa Apprentice Program.
Aliya plans to take a gap year to focus on volunteer work, expanding her jewelry business, and pursuing her creative interests as she seeks the Lord for guidance in future pursuits.
