Charis Bowman is a homeschooled high school freshman. She has been raised in the studio since the opening in 2015 by the owner Anna Bowman. She has been trained to be a qualified teacher since she was only 11 years old under the instruction of her mother Anna Bowman. She has been an apprentice for 4 years and is now entering employment at Doxa.
She is a national certified Cecchetti grade 4 student and is currently working on pre professional levels. She has performed numerous dances but her favorites have been Rio, Banks, High School Musical, I’ve Got rhythm, and Waving through a Window. She was also the main character in the “Greatest Showman” production, and one of the main characters in our first ballet “The Princess and the Golden Bird.” In Spring 2024 she was a main character in our second ballet called “Esther, Queen of Deliverance” and played the role of the “shooting star.” Charis has traveled extensively throughout the years attending workshops and striving to become better. She has had to take an exam in front of a national examiner in order to pass her Cecchetti
Grades.
Charis is excellent at tap, jazz, lyrical, modern, contemporary, ballet, and acro. She also excels in the music industry playing piano, violin, and studying voice. She is now teaching the love of music to the young students of Doxa. Charis is a singer in her youth worship band at her local church.
She loves to laugh and make people smile. She loves Jesus and tries to show his love in many ways.
