Josie is thrilled to be entering her fifth year of instructing at Doxa. She is studying at Southern Arkansas University, working on completing her Associates degree with an art and education focus. Josie started her exploration in the arts taking dance and gymnastics classes at a young age, later exploring music such as voice and violin lessons, then finding a true passion and interest for art. She hopes to broaden her horizons by continuing to always seek knowledge and to explore different types of art in her free time.
Josie found Doxa about 10 years ago when transitioning from public school to homeschool and has been attending ever since. She later began assisting in art and dance classes at Doxa where she excelled in connecting with the students and thoroughly enjoyed sharing her knowledge of the arts. One thing she loves about Doxa as a long term student and instructor is how accepting the environment is along with the faith-based nature of Doxa.
Some of Josie’s hobbies include art, listening to music, pickleball, graphic design, thrifting, collecting, and reading. She is the youngest of 4 siblings and hopes to continue working with Doxa for as long as she can.
