Josie Hendrick is one of our talented Junior Teachers who is beginning her fourth year instructing. She is studying at Southern Arkansas University, aiming to pursue an Associates of Arts degree, but is focusing more on expanding and sharing her knowledge and skills in the Fine Arts world for now. Josie started her arts education as a child studying music, art, choir, gymnastics, dance, and musical theater.

Josie has volunteered in VBS programs at her church where she was able to love on children and learned leadership in those opportunities. She also assisted in art and dance classes at Doxa where she excelled in connecting with the students. Josie’s passion for working with kids grew while assisting in classes.

Her hobbies include art, dance, thrifting, and reading. She is the youngest of 4 siblings and hopes to continue working with Doxa for as long as she can.
