Phoebe Freeman is a homeschooled high school senior who began her dance training at Doxa Arts Academy at the age of eight. Through determination, hard work, and the encouragement of her instructors, she overcame physical disabilities and has achieved high commendations in the Cecchetti Ballet Method, successfully passing Grade 4 under national examiners. 

In addition to dance, Phoebe has studied voice, music theory, and art at Doxa Arts Academy. She has trained in lyrical, modern, jazz, tap, musical theater, acro, pointe, and ballet, with ballet remaining her favorite style. She portrayed the Midnight Fairy in Doxa’s first full-length ballet, The Princess and the Golden Bird (2023), and the Palace Pet Keeper leading the academy’s toddler dance class in Esther, Queen of Deliverance (2024). In 2025, she performed the role of the Nile River Maiden in Daughters of the Nile, and most recently portrayed Naomi in Harvest of Hearts (2026). She has also represented Doxa Arts Academy in many local performances throughout the community. 

Outside the studio, Phoebe enjoys dancing, reading, traveling, shopping, and spending time with her family. She faithfully serves in the preschool ministry at Summit Church in Saline County through Worship Care and Vacation Bible School and is a member of the church worship team, singing during Sunday and Wednesday services. 

Growing her skills as a teaching apprentice, Phoebe has now been a junior dance teacher for the past three years, where she has developed as an instructor while investing in the lives of young dancers. Her love for children, combined with her passion for dance, has inspired her desire to teach in the future.  Phoebe intends to pursue a degree in Early Childhood Education, allowing her to continue nurturing and inspiring young children. 

Above all, Phoebe’s greatest desire is to glorify Christ in the way she serves others, living out the truth of Matthew 5:16. Doxa Arts Academy has played an integral role in her life by providing a place of encouragement, growth, and belonging, and it will always hold a special place in her heart.
