Amy has always had a deep love for the arts. She began dancing at a young age and continued throughout high school and college. Amy graduated from Utah State University with a bachelor’s degree in Creative Writing. She then worked as a graphic designer for the Utah State 4-H Office, managing their website, social media, and other print and digital materials. After college, Amy joined Valley Dance Ensemble, a modern dance company, where she performed, choreographed, and taught for their youth company.
Amy and her family moved to Arkansas in 2020, which allowed her to live her dream of being a full-time mom. She quickly missed dancing, and in 2022, she joined the Doxa team as a Dance Instructor, where she immediately felt at home. In 2023, she began assisting with marketing, including website updates and design projects, and now continues in that role as Doxa’s Marketing Manager.
After moving to South Carolina in 2025, Amy has continued working remotely, helping support the studio’s mission from afar. She is grateful for the opportunity to stay connected with the Academy and the amazing people behind the magic.
Outside of her work with Doxa, Amy continues to teach dance in her new town and enjoys reading, embroidery, traveling, designing, writing, baking, and spending time with her husband and two kids.
